Sports

As parents we are always supportive on whatever sports pour kids would be playing. But sometimes we need to check whether that sports would be safe for them or the people that would be handling them are to be trusted for our kids’ safety. If the allegations are indeed true, not only should University of South Florida have had Jim Leavitt fired, he should probably be prosecuted as well. He allegedly grabbed a player, Joel Miller, by the throat and struck him in the face. Perhaps it's time we as a nation address something about the status we afford our sportsmen – if any one of us were to do that to an employee, we would be arrested for assault and would be getting payday loans for bail. However, this guy is getting off the hook – so just because he coaches a team in one of the least popular global sports the law doesn't apply – how dumb is that?
