This year Louisville will be the location for the world’s largest youth conference focusing on drug and violence prevention and one of the few where youth and adults meet to find solutions. Children’s Advocacy Day at the Capitol is your opportunity to show our legislators Kentucky cares about its children and youth. Rally for children’s issues at the Capitol rotunda in Frankfort and gather information on policies affecting youth. This conference will be held in Owenton at the Owen County High School. Speakers will present information on the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of children, youth, and their families. The morning keynot speaker is Jason Illian, author of “My Space, My Kids” and “Undressed, the Naked Truth About Dating.” The evening keynote address will be by motivational speaker Jeff Yalden.
